Fellowship of the Rainbow!
A doctor, a merchant, a teacher, a student ....
Dr SD is working in a country where no one can be trusted. He has three young uns. Yet sacrificing most of what he has for the sake of saving one life. A life I treasure just as much as mine.
Off all the people this Merchant had to fall in the most unlikely hands. In the beginning doubt and fear clouded my mind. It was only later evidences that I thought better of the caring hands of Dr SD.
Princess TP Mates :)
Today I had a few errands and I needed to pick up my pace and kick ass before 1st July. Having just few hours of sleep all my appointments nearly slipped my memory.
But I manage to buck up have a quick change and met OG at 1.30pm at Bugis. Its been ages since I've met my cousin. So we did allot of catching up. Before I left Hotty was around but he was completely knocked out also from lack of sleep.
Princess met Jazzmann and got 2 new pairs of shoes. Its very pretty sneakers and much need shoes. The privacy was welcomed by Princess which I guess she needed to have without Hotty around .... to his disappointment. (No hard feelings Hotty ok)
BTW - OG keep in touch ya and let's not wait for a year to do this k. I enjoyed our meeting. It was good to catch up.
Since I had tuition in that vicinity I paid her a visit since it was quite some time since I last saw her. Tuition went well and by the time I got back to Woodlands the TP mates was there. It was good to see the Princess distress with OTHER friends.
By the time I got up ..... Princess got breakfast for me on the table. Oooooh thanks dear. Yummy tooo! The "Ghetto" BOY left in a disguise. Hee. Hee. .... Cute. Love the sunnies ;)
Ayuni was here as well. Good to see you girl. Now - both playing Monopoly and chatting.
The Night After ....
I spoke to Jazzmann for a bit and he was polite. I was glad that we could be civil FINALLY!!
The day was slow and lazy. Its been ages since I cooked and that is what I just did!! Cooked lunch ...... Chicken in Tomato, prawns dipped in bread crumbs, creamy fishball soup and rice. Wow!! What a meal.
Princess and I watched telly ate to our hearts content. I ate and ate .... I guess I ate cause I'm stress..... as USUAL! That meal .. was not bruch nor was it high tea ... shall we say early dinner?? She and Baby Flame manage to iron things out which was great to hear.
By the time we were done it was close to 5pm. I was a little wacked out. So I slept till 10.30pm!! Princess didn't even wake me up!!
Anyways ... we both had late supper at 2am. Neither of us could sleep. Hotty and her had another row and needed to settle some issues. I watched a re-run of C.S.I Miami in Princess's room and tucked her to bed at the same time. Once she fell into deep sleep. I moved out to my room.
Before I knew it was already 7am!!
Never Judge a Book by its Cover
Today Princess went out with her friends. It was as she had expected with all THE FANATICS around. She kept her cool. But hey ..... how much can a girl takes when being pushed to the edge!! A "LITTLE" cat doing the cat walk like it was a model's runway with eyes rolling up to the heavens. With stares directed at Princess .... what the hell was that?? You got a problem with Princess?? You can take it up with her you know. She's can be as fiesty as you @*%$!!
What aweful night it was!!
Have you not heard .... love your friends but KEEP your enemies closer?? Sometimes it may seem that one is hanging out with your very rivals THAT ver act does not necessarily mean that SHE IS ONE OF THEM! Get it.
Knowing of THE RIVAL's sources she hung out with her indirectly prodding for clues of "THE Ghetto" boys current affairs. Just to compare if there is anythning new that she is not aware off. The Rival hung out with Princess because .... I don't know ... she probably figures that she too can be Miss Popular by doing that. Who knows! So I guess you just have to take her words with a pinch of salt.
But at the same time the wind blew whispers through the Princess's ears which aches more than she can bear. She took a break and wanted to get away from it all. She cordially blew kissess and hugs and bid SOME of them a very fond farewell.
The night was ALMOST over or so she thought. When she was accidentally spotted with her friends. But THE SPOTTER fail too see the whole picture. When she got home with the Home Sweethearts it even frustrates more than ever. .... All the he said, she said, I said, ..... whoever said keeps going around. It muddles the situation even more!!
The night ended with tears and comfort from the love ones with Hotty included.

Queen Nariman
My mum was a great fan of Queens of Egypt. My name happen to be the name of the last queen. She was born in 1934. Died in March 2005 if I'm not mistaken at the age of 72. Unfortunately I'm not as pretty as she is :)
FYI - just a short write up on the Queen.
It was the same age that Farouk had ascended the throne following the sudden death of his father, the somewhat brusque King Fouad. Dragged from the seclusion of high palace walls Farouk was thrust centre stage, to occupy a role that was clearly beyond his experience and, some say, his intellectual capacity.
As expected, a wife soon became part of palace entourage. On 20 January 1938 Farouk was married to Queen Farida (a princess in her own right), with whom he had three children: Fawzia, Fadia, and Ferial. The marriage ended in divorce in 1948. Cairo gossips pointed an accusing finger at the queen and whispered adultery, though her greatest crime was possibly not having provided a son and heir.
"The king vows to take a commoner as his wife," rang out the newspaper headlines the following days. "King Farouk vows to have a son from a commoner."
"It was not his intention to go out and seek a commoner for a wife," the late Adel Sabet told me before his death in 2001. Sabet, a cousin of the king, became Farouk's intermediary between the palace and the secretary-general of the Arab League during the critical years preceding and following the ruinous 1948 war in Palestine. "But the press was ruthless, with both him and later his second wife, Queen Nariman Sadek."
The king did eventually choose a wife from among the "people", a young woman not of royal lineage. Farouk is rumoured to have first spotted Nariman in a jewellery shop. And Egypt's then- dashing young king brooked no opposition to his desires. Nariman's engagement to Hashem was promptly dissolved.

too blessed to be stressed
O, bakit ka na naman na-i-istress? Did you wake up on the wrong side of
the bed? Meron ka bang deadline na i-bi-beat ngayong araw na ito? It's
important to understand stress before we can effectively manage it kaya
Stress ang pag-uusapan natin ngayon.
Ayon sa mga scientists mayroong dalawang uri ng stress. Eustress and
Distress. Eustress is positive stress. Ito ang nararamdaman ng isang
dalaga kapag dumarating na ang kanyang manliligaw at may daladalang
flowers. Eustress din ang tawag sa stress na nararanasan ng mga nagwo-
work-out when they are doing their exercises. Ang mga athletes,
pagkatapos na ma-stress ang kanilang muscles, they rest para ma-repair
ang kanilang muscles. Kapag hindi sila nagpahinga, the stressed muscles
will be injured. When injury happens, yan ang distress.
Distress is the negative side of stress.
Famous author and inspirational speaker, Dr. John Maxwell has the
following suggestions:
Don't be overly sensitive to criticism. Tanggapin na natin ang
katotohanang hindi natin kayang i-please ang lahat ng tao. Talagang
mayroong hindi aayon sa iyo kahit na napaka-noble ng iyong mga
intentions and motives. So when you receive criticisms, take it
constructively kung sensible ang criticism. If you think the criticism
is not objective, huwag na lang pansinin at ng hindi ka ma-distress.
Don't take too much pride in your achievements. Ang pride ay parang
uling, ginagatungan niyan ang distress. Ang taong proud ay mas lalong
nadi-distress dahil masyado niyang iniingatan ang kanyang achievement
at accomplishment. Minsan nga our achievements hinder us from
growing and learning kasi sinasabi natin sa ating sarili, aba may na-
accomplish na ko. Mas mahusay ako kaysa sa iba, hindi na nila ko
pwedeng turuan. Ang lungkot ng buhay kapag naging ganyang ang
attitude natin.
Don't harbor jealousy over the achievement of others. Ang taong
mainggitin madalas ding madistress, kasi nga totoo namang mayroong
mas higit kaysa sa atin. Natural ang iba ay maaaring magkaroon ng
achievements na wala tayo di ba. Instead of being jealous or envious,
let's learn to rejoice in the successes of others. Malay mo malibre ka
pa bogchi dahil nakikigalak ka sa kanilang tagumpay, di ba?
Don't focus on your weaknesses and inadequacies. Ang sugat kapag
mas lalo mong kinalikot mas lalong lalala at baka maimpeksyon. The more
you focus on your weaknesses and inadequacies the bigger the
tendency of wallowing in self-pity. While it is important to
acknowledge your inadequacies, it is helpful to focus on your strengths and
capabilities.
One effective way of fighting distress is by counting our blessings .
The good things which life brings. When we have grateful hearts, we will always be reminded that we are too blessed to be stressed! Someone wrote that "The shortest distance between a problem and a solution is the distance between your knees and the floor.

Bullet Out
Friday 22nd June 2007
I must have slept for few hours before I was woken up first with my bad nose than just before I was just about to knocked out again ... an urgent call from Catwoman. Like a terrible disaster had just happened. In the final analysis the only way to solve the problem was for her to come down to Woodlands yet again.
Lack of finance force her to come down in a cab. FINALLY, did her printing in BLUE!! I cooked lunch and toasted bread. Catwoman left and I took another 2 more panadol for my cold and back and neck ache. But at 7pm I went out with Princess recapping of that "OUTRAGE" incident. It's not your fault Princess. I guess its just THAT animal in them. .... some are just more dangerous than others. I would like to thank all my "Babies" for your concern and comfort that you have given me through out the course of my turmoil. Even though this is just the tip of the iceberg. I know I can pull through these hard and trying times.
Came home cooked dinner. We had a wonderful home cooked dinner. Gosh!! I miss that so much. Princess downloaded all the pictures from the picnic she had at the Botanical Gardens with C.H.A.T.S. I noted that her photography skills have improved tremendously. (Do check it out on her blog).
Today is also the day they were going to operate on Nic for a gun shot wound. I was so worried its freaking me out despite of the doctor's assurance. To God be the Glory, the operation has been successfully done without any harm on his leg. The bullet has been removed and his leg is safe. He is sleeping with a much needed rest.
Saturday 23rd June 2007
Today Princess is out doing more research and I hope she gets to interview the person she is hoping to get something for her assignment. Plus its the 2nd launching of the SleeQ's album. I am so suuuuuperrrrrrrrr proud our you guys and thanks for the special message on your album cover.
Nic you just hang in there ok. Princess and I will be waiting for you.

A Doctor's Pledge
I swear to fulfill, to the best of my ability and judgment, this covenant:
I will respect the hard-won scientific gains of those physicians in whose steps I walk, and gladly share such knowledge as is mine with those who are to follow.
I will apply, for the benefit of the sick, all measures [that] are required, avoiding those twin traps of overtreatment and therapeutic nihilism.
I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon's knife or the chemist's drug.
I will not be ashamed to say "I know not," nor will I fail to call in my colleagues when the skills of another are needed for a patient's recovery.
I will respect the privacy of my patients, for their problems are not disclosed to me that the world may know. Most especially must I tread with care in matters of life and death. If it is given me to save a life, all thanks. But it may also be within my power to take a life; this awesome responsibility must be faced with great humbleness and awareness of my own frailty. Above all, I must not play at God.
I will remember that I do not treat a fever chart, a cancerous growth, but a sick human being, whose illness may affect the person's family and economic stability. My responsibility includes these related problems, if I am to care adequately for the sick.
I will prevent disease whenever I can, for prevention is preferable to cure.
I will remember that I remain a member of society, with special obligations to all my fellow human beings, those sound of mind and body as well as the infirm.
If I do not violate this oath, may I enjoy life and art, respected while I live and remembered with affection thereafter. May I always act so as to preserve the finest traditions of my calling and may I long experience the joy of healing those who seek my help.

A Ray of Light
Abidjan
Abidjan is the largest city and former capital of Côte d'Ivoire. It is the commercial and banking center of Côte d'Ivoire as well as the de facto capital. (Yamoussoukro is the official capital.) It stands in Ébrié Lagoon on several converging peninsulas and islands, connected by bridges. There are an estimated 4 to 5 million inhabitants in the metropolitan area.[citation needed]
The city is a study in contrasts. On one hand the city is hot and humid, congested and full of street hawkers. On the other hand, Abidjan is referred to as the "Paris of West Africa" because of its parks, broad boulevards, universities, exotic fashions and museums. Neighborhoods include Cocody, an upscale residential area located east of the modern business district, and Treichville, located southward on Petit-Bassam Island, with its busy traditional market. Banco National Park lies north of the city. Abidjan harbors numerous government departments.
It is also the hub of the national road system and the terminus of the Abidjan-Niger Railway, which extends northward into Burkina Faso.
Because of the Ivorian Civil War, insecurity in Abidjan has risen, with some riots targeting foreigners as well as a sharp increase in criminality. Once one of the wealthiest and most peaceful cities in Africa, Abidjan is now considered one of the most dangerous cities on the continent.

My Saviour
Nicolas Watford and he is from USA specifically in Seattle, Washington State. He studied in Columbia University in the City of New York and right there he had his Master's Degree in mathematics for 10 years ago. He is a man with one world because he has no parents and to go straight to the point his parents are no more and he is the only son.
His parents came from different backgrounds his Dad is an American citizen and my lovely Mum is from India and you can say that he is of mixed race. You may ask why didn't he use his degree but he had a great reason for that. He is a talented man that can do all by God's grace. What he did flowed into his dad's business.
Polygamous & My Opinion
Under Muslim law a man is allowed up to four wives but he must be able to show that he can treat each woman equally and provide a separate home for each one. At present it's believed there are 300 polygamous families living in the UK.
If polygamous marriages are recognised under British law, polyandry – where women can have more than one husband – could also become law under our equal rights legislation.
This is also for the mormons who can marry up to five wives. .... But for a woman to have more than one husband .... well, that is not heard off. Perhaps its because no matter how much equal rights we fight for ... the women always seems to be of the weaker sex.
So get along with each other is still tolerant, forgive, communication.
Jazzman's own blood took up the responsibility of having two wives.

Growing Up vs Growing Old by Cobra
I liked reading this short article from a friend. I hope you will, too.
The first day of school our professor introduced himself and challenged us to get to know someone we didn't already know. I stood up to look around when a gentle hand touched my shoulder.
I turned around to find a wrinkled, little old lady beaming up at me with a smile that lit up her entire being.
She said, "Hi handsome. My name is Rose. I'm eighty-seven years old. Can I give you a hug?"
I laughed and enthusiastically responded, "Of course you may!" and she gave me a giant squeeze.
"Why are you in college at such a young, innocent age?" I asked.
She jokingly replied, "I'm here to meet a rich husband, get married, and have a couple of kids..."
"No seriously," I asked. I was curious what may have motivated her to be taking on this challenge at her age.
"I always dreamed of having a college education! and now I'm getting one!" she told me.
After class we walked to the student union building and shared a chocolate milkshake.
We became instant friends every day for the next three months we would leave class together and talk nonstop. I was always mesmerized listening to this "time machine" as she shared her wisdom and experience with me.
Over the course of the year, Rose became a campus icon and she easily made friends wherever she went.
She loved to dress up and she reveled in the attention bestowed upon her from the other students. She was living it up.
At the end of the semester we invited Rose to speak at our football banquet.
I'll never forget what she taught us. She was introduced and stepped up to the podium. As she began to deliver her prepared speech, she dropped her three by five cards on the floor.
Frustrated and a little embarrassed she leaned into the microphone and simply said, "I'm sorry I'm so jittery! I gave up beer for Lent and this whiskey is killing me! ! I'll never get my speech back in order so let me just tell you what I know."
As we laughed she cleared her throat and began, "We do not stop playing because we are old; we grow old because we stop playing.
There are only four secrets to staying young... being happy, and achieving success. You have to laugh and find humor every day. You've got to have a dream. When you lose your dreams, you die.
We have so many people walking around who are dead and don't even know it!
There is a huge difference between growing older and growing up.
If you are nineteen years old and lie in bed for one full year and don't do one productive thing, you will turn twenty years old.
If I am eighty-seven years old and stay in bed for a year and never do anything I will turn eighty-eight. Anybody can grow older. That doesn't take any talent or ability.
The idea is to grow up by always finding opportunity in change. Have no regrets.
The elderly usually don't have regrets for what we did, but rather for things we did not do. The only people who fear death are those with regrets."
She concluded her speech by courageously singing "The Rose."
She challenged each of us to study the lyrics and live them out in our daily lives.
At the year's end Rose finished the college degree she had begun all those years ago.
One week after graduation Rose died peacefully in her sleep.
Over two thousand college students attended her funeral in tribute to the wonderful woman who taught by example that it's never too late to be all you can possibly be.
When you finish reading this, please send this peaceful word of advice to your friends and family, they'll really enjoy it!
These words have been passed along in loving memory of ROSE.
REMEMBER, GROWING OLDER IS MANDATORY.
GROWING UP IS OPTIONAL.
We make a Living by what we get,
We make a Life by what we give.
God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage.
If God brings you to it,
He will bring you through it.
" Good friends are like stars.........You don't always see them,
but you know they are always there."

Because of You My Heart Still Beats
My Dearest Darling,
I dedicate this song by Beyonce just for you. For without you I will be nothing except for the strength of my Princess. But with you by my side .... you complete me. I am now whole and have come full circle with Princess and you in my life. That is all I need. I thank God the Almighty for all that is given to me and us.
As you read my blog the song plays in the background. So in case you can't follow the words .... the lyrics are as follows.
Because of You My Heart Still Beats
You're holding me and i close my eyes
You're whispering and i start to cry
You feel so good, you're so beautiful
For as long as you live, don't let me go
Just hold me, touch me, feel me
as long as you love me
reach for me and need me
If you could trust me and teach me,
never let go of me
because you're half of me, my heart still beats
Lookin' in the eyes, the eyes of love
I hold your face and i see the sun
and i taste your kiss, and you touch my soul
and i'm feeling things i never felt before
Just hold me, touch me, feel me
as long as you love me
reach for me and need me
If you could trust me and teach me,
never let go of me
because you're half of me, my heart still beats
I am feeling what they call pure love
I never knew feelings like this could exsist inside of me
I am soaring, emotions exploding
I don't want to live another day if you're not here with me
Jus hold me, touch me, feel me
as long as you love me
reach for me and need me
If you could trust me and teach me,
never let go of me
because you're half of me, my heart still beats
because you're half of me, my heart still beats
ohh my heart still beats
All I Need Is .......
All I Need is Your love to surround me like the air that I breathe.
All I Need is Your kiss to touch me as gentle as a breeze.
All I Need is Your touch as tender as that of a child.
All I Need is Your hug is as warm, meek, and mild.
All I Need is for Each day we grow older and its plain to see,
The love that you give me is all that I need.
Every time I look at you
my heart skips a beat
I wonder if you know, my love,
that my heart is at your feet
I leave it there for you to do
whatever that you wish
You could take my heart,
and love me,
Or just leave me in this bliss.
Sun Rise
The grey began to fade,
As the colours filled the sky,
The chill began to warm,
As the sun began to rise.
A lost girl found direction,
As the eastern orb rose high,
The dark sky turned to blue,
Like the colour of your eyes
Dark turned to light,
Grey turned to blue,
Lost became found,
That's when I found you.
