If you judge people, you have no time to love them...

We forget that forgiveness is greater than revenge. People make mistakes. We are allowed to make mistakes. But the actions we take while in a rage will haunt us forever. Pause and ponder. Think before you act. Be patient. Forgive & forget. Love one and all. If you judge people, you have no time to love them

Letting go

Letting go of someone dear to you is hard, but holding on to someone who doesn't even feel the same is much harder. Giving up doesn't mean you are weak! It only means that you are strong enough to let go! 00000000000000000000000000000000 Sometimes we tend to be in despair when the person we love leaves us, but the truth is, it's not our loss, but theirs, for they left the only person who wouldn't give up on them. 00000000000000000000000000000000000000 If your love does not work with that person, it just means that someone else loves you more. just dropping by for some words of "wisdom"

Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot, who calls you back when you hang up on him, who will lie under the stars and listen to your heartbeat, or will stay awake just to watch you sleep... wait for the boy who kisses your forehead, who wants to show you off to the world when you are in sweats, who holds your hand in front of his friends, who thinks you're just as pretty without makeup on. One who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares and how lucky his is to have you.... The one who turns to his friends and says, 'that's her.'

Family

The family is the corner stone of our society. More than any other force it shapes the attitude, the hopes, the ambitions, and the values of the child. And when the family collapses it is the children that are usually damaged. When it happens on a massive scale the community itself is crippled. So, unless we work to strengthen the family, to create conditions under which most parents will stay together, all the rest â schools, playgrounds, and public assistance, and private concern â will never be enough.

After life

After dying in a car crash, three friends go to Heaven for orientation. They are all asked the same question, "When you're lying in your casket, and friends and family are mourning over you, what would you like to hear them say about you?"

The first guy immediately responds, "I would like to hear them say that I was one of the great doctors of my time, and a great family man."

The second guy says, "I would like to hear that I was a wonderful husband and school teacher who made a huge difference in the children of tomorrow."

The last guy thinks for a moment, and then replies, "I guess I'd like to hear them say, ' Look, he's moving!'"

Back In Shanghai

Just to let you know we are back in Shanghai.  Nanjing is an old city.  It was the old capital before Bejing.  It is about 3 hours from Shanghai.  I can imagine Shanghai being like present day Nanjing about 10 years ago.  Now Shanghai is too crowded.

I guess the highlight of the trip was the Nanjing Masacre Mueseum.  The visit was pretty intense all the horrific details of the atrocities, the graphic and the eerieness of it all.  After experiencing Japan and knowing Japaneses people in Shanghai , it is hard to imagine that they were responsible for so much horror.

We took the bullet train back to Shanghai, and that made it all better.  Not many bullet trains in China yet...so this was first class for us.   So that was our Easter weekend.

Hope all of you had a Good Friday weekend!
love
wati
