Management Lesson by Cobra

Johnny wanted to have sex with a girl in his office.....but she belonged to someone else...

One day Johnny got so frustrated that he went up to her and said, "I'll give you a $100 if you let me have you!"

But the girl said "NO!"

Johnny said, "I'll be fast, I'll throw the money on the floor, you bend down, and I'll be finished by the time you pick it up."

She thought for a moment and said that she would have to consult her boyfriend.....so she called her boyfriend and told him the story.
Her boyfriend said, "Ask him for $200, then pick up the money very fast. He won't even be able to get his pants down."

So she agrees and accepts the proposal. Half an hour goes by and the boyfriend is waiting for his girlfriend to call. Finally after 45 minutes the boyfriend calls and asks what happened.

She replied, "The bastard used coins!"

Management lesson:
Always consider a business proposal in its entirety before agreeing to it and getting screwed.

Shine Model

Passion still runs through her veins and is there to stay!
I never forget the time when these photo was taken. Just completed "O's", looking for a job. Being neither here nor there. Being so constraint by weak health. But it is something that has NEVER and WILL NEVER dampen the high spirited Princess.
Finally she dive with both feet in going to passion. Though short lived due to persuing other path. This passion has never left her.

Love Story .....

Interesting when you intepret it this way ...............

This is INDEED a Problem

Hhhhhmmmm..... Something we are facing or have face at one time or another??

Your Love is My Love and My Love is Your Love

This song is FOR YOU AND ME BABY!

If tomorrow is judgement day (sing mommy)
And I'm standing on the front line
And the Lord asks me what I did with my life
I will say I spent it with you, it's alright

If I wake up in world war three
(World war, world war three)
I see destruction and poverty
(Oh my, my, my)
And I feel like I wanna go home
It's okay if you're coming with me, it's alright

(Chorus):
Your love is my love and my love is your love
it would take an eternity to break us up
The chains of Amistad couldn't hold us

Your love is my love and my love is your love
It would take an eternity to break us
And the chains of Amistad couldn't hold us

If I lose my fame and fortune
(It really don't matter)
And my home is on the streets
(On the streets, oh Lord)
And I'm sleeping in grand central station (okay)
It's okay if you're sleeping with me
As the years, they pass us by
(The years, the years, the years)
We stay young through each other's eyes

(Each other's eyes)
And no matter how old we get, oh
It's okay as long as I got you, baby

Small Dreams

For once suddenly realising the world just past by me without realising time flies. Maybe its what I want.

I am missing Princess so badly and wishing they were different for both of us. .... for once ... many things have happen and yet I am lost for words. Speechless.

Miss Malaysia is coming back soon. I guess there are certain issues that needed addressing.

I met batgal's close friend Val. Hey woman, good to catch up with you after all this while. Thanks for passing the stuff to Wat and keeping what I told you to yourself ya. For now at least. The exchange of information and experience was valuable. Thank you.

Well, .... not too sure if I can handle my life right now. But I am preparing to take on more assignments starting from next month. Can I handle it?? ... Not to sure. But I have to try. Its the only way I know how. My right leg is giving me problem. It hurts sometimes but I do my best in forgeting the pain and work against the grain.

Talked to Nic most of the time. His leg is healing tremendously well. Come end of next week he will start to work on his papers. He never fail to sing to me! Gosh how I miss him singing TO MY FACE rather than on the phone. Oh well .... its just one of those things.

My dearest Nic you have big dreams and I am worried for your big dreams. Oh my dearest Sweetheart ... I am just a small person next to you. My dreams are small. Just a small tiny droplet. I am so overwhelmed by your confidence and what you have. Maybe I am just not use to it. I know you want to give me the best of this world as I do too.

I am sooooooooo greatful that you accept my baby and Chomelanggun as A package. Hey, babe keep the dream small ok. I promise once you are here I'll relax my work load BUT NOT TO give it up totally.

The burden is meant to be shared NOT for you TO TAKE OVER. Let me handle it step by step. As long as I have my life to share it with you. I don't quite care for the storm or hurricane. Cause I know you are there by my side. I thank you.

I never forget what you told me what your father said about focusing on your dreams not to EVER let it go till you reach the GOAL. Let just take baby steps first in our lives ok.

Missing you terribly ...... However, I hope you are having a good time with the doctor at THE RONDEVOUS.

Take Heart

For all you good people.  Do take heart.  Especially for you Nariman.  Take care ya.

Qn: What are the thumb rules for a layman to take care of his heart ?

Ans:
1. Diet - Less of carbohydrate, more of protein, less oil
2. Exercise - Half an hour's walk, at least five days a week; avoid lifts and avoid sitting for a longtime
3. Quit smoking
4. Control weight
5. Control blood pressure and sugar

Qn: Is eating non-veg food (fish) good for the heart?

Ans: No

Qn: It's still a grave shock to hear that some apparently healthy person

gets a cardiac arrest. How do we understand it in perspective?

Ans: This is called silent attack; that is why we recommend everyone past the age of 30 to undergo routine health checkups.

Qn: Are heart diseases hereditary?

Ans: Yes

Qn: What are the ways in which the heart is stressed? What practices do you suggest to de-stress?

Ans: Change your attitude towards life. Do not look for perfection in everything in life.

Qn: Is walking better than jogging or is more intensive exercise required to keep a healthy heart?

Ans: Walking is better than jogging since jogging leads to early fatigue and injury to joints .

Qn: You have done so much for the poor and needy. What has inspired you to do so?

Ans: Mother Theresa , who was my patient.

Qn: Can people with low blood pressure suffer heart diseases?

Ans: Extremely rare

Qn: Does cholesterol accumulates right from an early age

(I'm currently only 22) or do you have to worry about it only after you are above 30 years of age?

Ans: Cholesterol accumulates from childhood.

Qn: How do irregular eating habits affect the heart ?

Ans: You tend to eat junk food when the habits are irregular and your body's enzyme release for digestion gets confused.

Qn: How can I control cholesterol content without using medicines?

Ans: Control diet, walk and eat walnut.

Qn: Can yoga prevent heart ailments?

Ans: Yoga helps.

Qn: Which is the best and worst food for the heart?

Ans:
Fruits and vegetables are the best and the worst is oil.

Qn: Which oil is better - groundnut, sunflower, olive?

Ans: All oils are bad
.

Qn: What is the routine checkup one should go through? Is there any specific test?

Ans: Routine blood test to ensure sugar, cholesterol is ok. Check BP, Treadmill test after an echo.

Qn: What are the first aid steps to be taken on a heart attack?

Ans: Help the person into a sleeping position
, place an aspirin tablet under the tongue with a sorbitrate tablet if available, and rush him to a coronary care unit since the maximum casualty takes place within the first hour.

Qn: How do you differentiate between pain caused by a heart attack and that caused due to gastric trouble?

Ans: Extremely difficult without ECG.

Qn: What is the main cause of a steep increase in heart problems amongst youngsters? I see people of about 30-40 yrs of age having heart attacks and serious heart problems.

Ans: Increased awareness has increased incidents. Also, sedentary lifestyles, smoking, junk food, lack of exercise in a country where people are genetically three times more vulnerable for heart attacks than Europeans and Americans.

Qn: Is it possible for a person to have BP outside the normal range of 120/80 and yet be perfectly healthy?

Ans: Yes.

Qn: Marriages within close relatives can lead to heart problems for the child. Is it true?

Ans : Yes, co-sanguinity leads to congenital abnormalities and you may not have a software engineer as a child

Qn: Many of us have an irregular daily routine and many a times we have to stay late nights in office. Does this affect our heart ? What precautions would you recommend?

Ans : When you are young, nature protects you against all these irregularities. However, as you grow older, respect the biological clock.

Qn: Will taking anti-hypertensive drugs cause some other complications (short / long term)?

Ans : Yes, most drugs have some side effects. However, modern anti-hypertensive drugs are extremely safe.

Qn: Will consuming more coffee/tea lead to heart attacks?

Ans : No.

Qn: Are asthma patients more prone to heart disease?

Ans : No.

Qn: How would you define junk food?

Ans : Fried food like Kentucky , McDonalds , samosas, and even masala dosas.

Qn: You mentioned that Indians are three times more vulnerable. What is the reason for this, as Europeans and Americans also eat a lot of junk food?

Ans: Every race is vulnerable to some disease and unfortunately, Indians are vulnerable for the most expensive disease.

Qn: Does consuming bananas help reduce hypertension?

Ans : No.

Qn: Can a person help himself during a heart attack (Because we see a lot of forwarded emails on this)?

Ans : Yes. Lie down comfortably and put an aspirin tablet of any description under the tongue and ask someone to take you to the nearest coronary care unit without any delay and do not wait for the ambulance since most of the time, the ambulance does not turn up.

Qn: Do, in any way, low white blood cells and low hemoglobin count lead to heart problems?

Ans : No. But it is ideal to have normal hemoglobin level to increase your exercise capacity.

Qn: Sometimes, due to the hectic schedule we are not able to exercise. So, does walking while doing daily chores at home or climbing the stairs in the house, work as a substitute for exercise?

Ans : Certainly. Avoid sitting continuously for more than half an hour and even the act of getting out of the chair and going to another chair and sitting helps a lot.

Qn: Is there a relation between heart problems and blood sugar?

Ans: Yes. A strong relationship since diabetics are more vulnerable to heart attacks than non-diabetics.

Qn: What are the things one needs to take care of after a heart operation?

Ans : Diet, exercise, drugs on time
, Control cholesterol, BP, weight.

Qn: Are people working on night shifts more vulnerable to heart disease when compared to day shift workers?

Ans : No.

Qn: What are the modern anti-hypertensive drugs?

Ans : There are hundreds of drugs and your doctor will chose the right combination for your problem, but my suggestion is to avoid the drugs and go for natural ways of controlling blood pressure by walk, diet to reduce weight and changing attitudes towards lifestyles.

Qn: Does dispirin or similar headache pills increase the risk of heart attacks?

Ans : No.

Qn: Why is the rate of heart attacks more in men than in women?

Ans : Nature protects women till the age of 45.

Qn: How can one keep the heart in a good condition?

Ans : Eat a healthy diet, avoid junk food, exercise everyday, do not smoke and, go for health checkup
s if you are past the age of 30 ( once in six months recommended) . . .

My Magic word!!!! by Hosain

Perhaps one of the most interesting and colorful words in the  English language today is the word "FUCK." It is the one magical word, just by  its sound can describe pain, pleasure, hate and love. Fuck, as most words in the  English language, takes its name from the German word "fricken," which means "to  strike."

"Fuck" falls into many grammatical categories.

It can  be used as a verb, both transitive (John fucked Mary) and intransitive (Mary was  fucked by John).

It can be an active verb (John really fucks up) or a  passive verb (Mary doesn't really give a fuck), an adverb (Mary is fucking  interested in John), and a noun (Mary is a fine fuck).

It can be used as  an adjective (Mary is fucking beautiful).

As you can see, there are not  many words with the versatility of "fuck."

Besides its sexual  connotation, this lovely word can be used to describe many situations:

Fraud I got fucked at the used car lot. Dismay Oh, fuck it! Trouble I  guess I'm fucked now. Aggression Fuck you! Passive Fuck me. Confusion What the  fuck? Difficulty I can't understand this fucking business. Despair Fucked again.  Apathy Who gives a fuck. Incompetence He's all fucked up! Laziness He's a fuck  off. Displeasure What the fuck is going on here? Ignorance Fuck if I know.  Defiance The fuck you can! Lost Where the fuck are we? Authority Shut the fuck  up.

It can be used in descriptive anatomy - He's really a fucking  asshole. It can be used to tell time - It's five fucking thirty. It can be used  in business - How did I get this fucking job? It can be a prediction - Oh, will  I get fucked. It can be maternal - as in "Mother Fucker." It can be nautical -  Fuck the Admiral. It can be political - Fuck Reagan! . It can open the door to  wonderful relationships - "Let's fuck." It can be used just to enhance the  meaning of a word - as in "Beautifuckingful" or "Terfuckingific." The mind  fairly boggles at the many creative uses. How can anyone be offended when you  say "Fuck"? Use it in your daily speech, it adds to your prestige. Say it Loudly and Proudly.

Today, tell someone "FUCK YOU."

SOME ADDED QUIPS:

Remember General Custer's famous last word:
"Where did all those  fucking Indians come from?"

Also, the last words of the mayor of  Hiroshima:
"What the fuck was that?"

And finally, the immortal words of the captain of the Titanic:
"Full speed ahead and fuck the icebergs!"

Two of Chalices

The Two of Chalices card suggests that my power today lies in compromise.

I am not alone. I offer and accept love, support, and happiness to connect with the pleasure and beauty of my hearts desire.

There are two sides to everything and I don't always have to be right. I am empowered by expression and my gift is attraction.

Friendship, Courtship, Hatred, Love

I know how some of you feel .... when ..... Oooooh its sad to belong to someone else when the right one comes along.  So this is just the few who feels this way ya.

I live through my dark existence
only to bask in your beauty
your eyes that shine like sapphires
your smile that brightens even my sad existence

I envy the wind that runs through your hair
that touches your lips
I long to touch you
to hold you in my arms but I cannot
for your heart belongs to another
so,

I can only love you from afar
your friendship means more to me
than anything this world provides
but like an angel you touched my heart
in a way that I've never felt before
cause I've never known what love is until this day

I know that we are only friends
but my heart wishes it to be more
so I will still hope and dream
that one day I can feel your lips pressed to mine
to hold you in my arms and say, "I love you"

Snake people enter a room and there is Music, Music, Joy! Everyone dances! Such high spirit! The Snake is so intense and passionate, just as likely to take out the castanets as to climb mountains of snow. Snake year people are charming and romantic, often planning delightful hideaway surprises. Possessing tremendous wisdom, they are deep, quiet thinkers, calm by nature, but most intense. They often get involved in great causes, bigger than life, and often serve as mentors to the young. To paraphrase Confucius, they have a kind of inner beauty that arises, hovers, then comes to nest. They will have an abundance of good fortune and a long and prosperous life.

Oxen

METAL OX Horoscope
Feb 19, 1901 to Feb 7, 1902
Feb 15, 1961 to Feb 4, 1962

So who is the Oxen in my life?? It's my One and Only Nicolas Watfort

Oxen in China are put on a pedestal. So it goes with Oxen people. Oxen are bright, peace-loving, often easy-going and trusting. But, on the other hand, they can also be stubborn, methodical, and fiercely competitive, with, shudder, fierce tempers to boot. Oxen are natural born mentors and life is filled with examples of people who have gone on to great success because of them. Mentally and physically alert to the point of genius, many Oxen belong to Mensa.

They can create the most imposing structures, magnificent sculpture, and homes. They respond like poets to the beauties of nature and of solitude. Oxen are unique, they are The Flower that bursts through the crack of cement.

Metal Oxen never have to experience the whirlpools of life because there are always people around who will rally to their needs and pull them out before problems become too big. You can't help liking someone who is so friendly and genuinely warm. No doubt about it, Metal Oxen are very well liked and regarded. So very sociable, they are always planning memorable get-togethers for their friends and loved ones, whether it be by candlelight or in windswept sunlight.

In work, Metal Oxen are Dynamos, tenacious, determined, and so full of dedication, they are acknowledged as the best by colleagues. No problems here and REWARDS are many. Love life is somewhat of a mystery, but it is important to tell you it is filled to brimming with the same wonderful attributes that make Metal Oxen so successful in other areas of their life. The area of Love & Relationships is immensely satisfying.

Writer's Block or Blog??

Hhhhmmmm why do we sometimes have writer's block.  Just when we need our ideas on "paper".  I'm not sure why.  Perhaps there are lots of things that's been blocking our mind.

Why do we blog??  Share ideas??  Keep on touch??  Share our ups and downs??

I think we should just write whatever that we find disturbing or harbouring in our minds.  I find this helps to lighten my burden in some small way.

May it be sad thoughts or happy thoughts. So .....

In a Nut Shell

Gosh!! My apologies for not updating my blog for so long but work commitments have driven me to having less time even for myself ........

Ya, ya, I know you guys have heard this line like a million times before. But .... oh well. That's life for me I guess.

Well, Miss Malaysia aka Chomelanggun have come and gone. The expo affair have come and gone. But I am glad to hear that it was a success. I guess she has a snag for retail! I am still so worried about her health though and I sincerely hope she is ok.

Miss Malaysia now left for the place that has been her second home for several years now. I guess that has not change ..... NOT YET anyways.

Today the people of the laws came down to the Princess's domain and nearly clam down on us. But Alhamdulila - they had mercy in their hearts and gave us time. Time ... hhhhhmmm it can be our best of friends or our worst of enemies.

Princess's new teacher is a freshie for this current module which I am greatful for. She is having a ball of a time, despite of the load of homework that's been dished out to her. Soon next week more pressure as her new module starts. Her exams are just round the corner and I am worried for her.

Socially .... hhhhhmmmm rehab?? rethink?? new motto??

Well, my dearest Princess - Behind Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining. I guess we just need to wait for it or its there but we are yet to see it. So smile more ya :)

Just remember that I will always be by your side.

The kind doctor was robbed of all that he had on him and was badly beaten and bruised. By his own countrymen in his own backyard!! Gosh!! What other things can go wrong!! A week or so prior to that incident he lost his patient. This has affected him in some ways. But being a doctor its part and parcel of the job. Goes with the territory I guess. But the doctor told me its something you just live with it .... and NEVER really get over it. :(

As for me?? My work has been keeping me on my toes learning something new everyday!!

Being in the Equine business ..... mannnnnnn there is so much to learn and know. I have just learn recently that due to bettings, greed, winnings ... make people do the most awful things to animals. Cruelty! How can this be stopped?? I never knew such thing exists till now.

As for my new found friends at work. They are just sooooooo great!! Chomelanggun knows my Boss and they have been and still are pals and so is the accountant!! I had no problem settling in. I love my boss. He is soooooo down to earth and very approachable. Though he has his flaws like any of us. After all he is human.

Princess manage to speak to Nic and I am glad to announce that he is making good progress.

But .....

Time, waiting .... in some small ways Princess and I are going through the same thing.

Time has become unbearable for the both of us and both of us are forever wondering when will time ever be over for us, August, September .... forever??? That seems an eternity!!

Right now - Sacrifices need to be made. I can only hope and pray that all this will soon be over for us.

My Darling I love you always and will be by your side as you have for me. I love the way you sing to me all the time. Unfortunately .... I don't have a voice as good as yours.

Dear God please answer our prayers and guide us through this storm.

I am greatful as Princess is greatful that we both have each other and friends we can rely on.

Ermmmm ... I miss you my family the most. I just hope one day you will understand why I do what I do and or did. though you are far away you are never far from my thoughts.

Love you always.

Currently we are just going through the motions in life BECAUSE WE HAVE TO not want to. Part and parcel of the journey of my or rather our lives!

Romantic Compatibility

Sagittarius & Capricorn

When Sagittarius and Capricorn join together in a love match, things may start slow and they may feel that they don't have much to gain from the other. In some ways, Sagittarius and Capricorn are opposites: Sagittarius is easy going, whimsical, seeks knowledge for its own sake, always jumps headfirst into new things, and is typically impatient. Capricorn is detail-oriented and passive, even shy, and is always looking toward the next project. Their differences can actually forge a stronger relationship in the long run, there being vast amounts each partner can learn from the other.

Early in the relationship, Sagittarius and Capricorn may not be able to see past one another's flaws. Sagittarius can at times seem unruly, and Capricorn may come across pompous and elitist. But once they stop focusing on one another's faults and look to their respective strengths, they'll see a vast pool of attractive qualities. Sagittarius can show Capricorn adventure and excitement, and can offer a glimpse of the freedom so often missing from Capricorn's life.

Capricorn teaches Sagittarius to pay attention to detail, uncovers the knowledge that the little things are important, and helps them to harness their random energy. Sagittarius may view Capricorn as too responsible, and will teach their partner to lighten up. Capricorn may accuse Sagittarius of being reckless and impulsive, and can help them to become well mannered.

Sagittarius is ruled by the Planet Jupiter and Capricorn follows the Planet Saturn. Jupiter is about higher learning, philosophy, expansion of knowledge and good luck that sometimes leads to excess. Saturn is the ruler of hard work, assiduousness, ambition and responsibility. Their affects on one another can be positive and tend to bring out each other's best aspects. Both Signs need to take a step back to appreciate their partner's approach; Sagittarius can teach Capricorn to be more spontaneous, while at the same time gaining stability from Capricorn's rational outlook.

Sagittarius is a Fire Sign, and Capricorn is an Earth Sign. Sagittarius initiates projects after philosophical evaluation, while Capricorn takes more practical, factual approach. Capricorn will think about the consequences of their activities, whereas Sagittarius loves to explore merely for their own personal satisfaction. Although these partners may have difficulties arising from their diverse morals, when they put their differences aside they make an excellent couple due to their well-rounded, complementary natures.

Sagittarius is a Mutable Sign, and Capricorn is a Cardinal Sign. Sagittarius isn't necessarily a leader or motivating force; when they have a good idea and see a way to contribute, they enjoy doing their part. Capricorn, on the other hand, comes up with the ideas and assigns roles to others. Sagittarius and Capricorn can work toward the same goals with great success due to a lack of conflict over roles.

What's the best aspect of the Sagittarius-Capricorn relationship? It's their effectiveness in working out minor bumps in the road. When they overcome their initial resistance to one another, this pair will see how much they have to gain from one another. Their personalities, different in so many ways, make theirs a highly effective love match.

My Pain By ........

Thank you for considering this letter of mine. I'm writing about Ben. We're in our twenties and both work in Makati. In fact, we used to be officemates. I've known him for almost two years and all the time, I've been in-love with him, although we are just friends and he has a girlfriend he intends to marry.

I can't help but fall in love with him. He's perfect! He's responsible, intelligent, resourceful, thoughtful, loving, sweet, caring, upright, kind, family-oriented, and a God-fearing individual. His good looks are just an added bonus. I can't believe such a man still exists today and I will forever be thankful for his friendship.

It is a pain to be so in-love with him because he and his girlfriend are perfect for each other and are so happy being together. I don't know if he's aware of my feelings for him, but winning his heart, I think, is out of the question. His girlfriend is too precious for him. Losing her would truly hurt him, and I don't want to see him in pain. I know, however, that a part of me wishes he would reciprocate my love, but he's just too good for me. He deserves someone better, like the girl he has now.

Knowing he's happy with her is enough consolation for me. I want his happiness even if it would mean my own despair. God knows how much I'm suffering. Writing this letter alone is already a torture. I've been trying very hard to forget him. I've done ways I know to free myself. Pero ang kulit talaga ng puso ko, ayaw sumunod. I haven't seen or talked with him for a long time and I thought his absence would somehow cool down the feeling, but it hasn't. I don't want to miss him, but I do miss him terribly. How can I forget him?

Whenever I see a place, a thing, or a situation, my mind automatically associates it with him. His memories occupy most of my waking and sleeping hours. His face pops into my mind in the middle of my lunch,

When I’m talking with my friends, cleaning my house, or just doing something which has nothing to remind me of him. Odd, but true. I'm not bitter. I don't blame myself, him, nor God for this situation. As a matter of fact, I'm thankful. Painfully odd as it is, this situation has made me the mature person I am now.

But I can't help ask myself why should someone fall for another when they are not meant for each other?

Why? Why?

You know, whenever I pray, I always ask God to help me let go of this love. I just want to feel the same way he feels for me... as a friend and nothing more. I know I can get through this because I believe that God wouldn't give me something He knows I couldn't handle. Someday I will be able to smile again without being hurt when I remember him. God has His reason for all of these and until I know the reasons, I want to hear words from you.

Attached is my picture to show my sincerity and let you decide if am really not meant for his love.

Please, help me get over him!

Closure of National Stadium

SINGAPORE : After 34 years of playing host to significant events in Singapore, the National Stadium will be closed on June 30.

To make sure the sports icon goes off with a bang, there will be a big farewell party complete with fireworks.  Celebrations will also include athletes marching round the stadium and a party on the field.

And the highlight of it all - the Singapore soccer team taking on the Australian Socceroos.  The $50 million National Stadium was opened in July 1973 by the then Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew.  More than three decades later, the stadium will be demolished to make way for the new Sports Hub.

And it will be given a befitting closure, involving the whole nation.

For most, it will be a trip down memory lane. Most know the stadium as the venue for National Day Parades and major football matches.

"600 athletes, both past and present, will parade round the stadium to the cheers of the crowd. We hope that the crowd will give them a good reception, and appreciate what they have done for Singapore," said Patrick Lee, chairman of National Stadium Closure Committee.

As a symbolic gesture, the cauldron will be lighted up by sprinter C Kunalan, marking the start of the farewell party.

Joining Kunalan will be six other athletes including Sportsman of the Year, national bowler Remy Ong.

"We still come here (National Stadium) for gym workout, our physio work and to see our doctors. So this place has great memories for me through the last 10 over years," said Ong.

Nostalgia will be the order of the day, as spectators can indulge in snacks and drinks sold by vendors, just like in the old days.

On the pitch, football fans can relive the Malaysia Cup days, with a veterans match involving stars from Singapore and Malaysia.

And right after that - the big game between the Lions and the Socceroos, who are here to prepare for the upcoming Asian Cup.

The clash will provide a rare treat for local fans as the visitors boast quite a few English Premier League stars, including captain Mark Viduka.

"It is a very important friendly to us; we have to play as well as we can.

It would be great to see the Singapore public out there and I'm sure that they would want to see some of our players as well as their own. It should be a good night," said Mark Viduka, captain of the Australian National Football Team.

The match will be significant for the Lions as well, since it will be their last big match at Kallang.  "Hopefully, (we'll) give something for the fans to cheer about before the National Stadium is being torn down. And I can see the Kallang roar or the Kallang wave for the very last time," said Aide Iskandar, captain of Singapore National Football Team.

After the match, Guest of Honour President SR Nathan, will douse the flame in the cauldron.  But the skies will be lit up with fireworks, signifying the official closure of the stadium and the end of a chapter in Singapore's sports history.

After that, it's party time on the field till 2am.  Organisers are expecting a good turnout. Half of the 35,000 tickets reserved for the public have been snapped up, while the rest are for invited guests.

There's also another hot item - special Singapore Sweep tickets to commemorate the closure of the stadium.  Singapore pools said lottery tickets were also issued when the stadium was opened in 1973.

So a memorable night could also turn out to be a very lucky night for some.

Outrage of Modesty

Hhhhhmmm a topic most girls and women avoid.

Why is it sooooo difficult for some of us to say "NO" to these advances.

Hhhhhmmm it isn't cause we were wearing sexy or revealing clothes.  If we were wearing them than maybe we deserve it.

Below is a study:

Outrage of modesty (OOM) offenders cause considerable annoyance and distress to their victims. The offending behaviours include touching, grabbing or fondling of erogenous or non-erogenous parts of the victim's body. The purpose of this study is to examine a prison cohort of OOM offenders and to compare them with a group of OOM offenders who had been remanded in a state mental hospital.

All prisoners serving sentence over a two-year study period were interviewed. They were of similar mean age to the hospital cohort but were better educated, more likely to be married and most were working. Victims tended to be young females with an average age of 19 years. Psychotic disorders were rarely present, although 15% had a dissociate personality disorder. Those with previous OOM convictions were likely to have had past psychiatric consultations and were more likely to be unmarried.

However, there were no statistically significant differences between convicted first-time offenders and repeat offenders with respect to age, educational level, nature of offences and alcohol consumption. The prisoners were less inclined to commit their offences in the mornings. Breasts and genitalia were the favoured targets for molest action, irrespective of time or place or whether the offence was committed by a first or repeat offender. The offences were often committed along staircases, corridors and in crowded public places.

My point is its more difficult when we know THAT person!!  The denial fact from that party and the resistance wears us down.  So what is the best thing to do??  AVOID THEM ALTOGETHER and pray that the trauma we go through will just go away.

Back to the Grind

Saturday 30th June

Today is the day I started my first day of work.  It was hard in the beginning.  Getting up early.

Teaching: with all the noise and questions from all my students wondering what happen to me.  Explaining to them what I had.  Being as descriptive as I can be.  All the "ooohs" and the "Aaahhs" echoed throughout the class.  I was greatful that my class was a small class!!

Monday, second day of July and my first day of work in my new office.  I thought it was going to be very far for me to walk and thought I was going to be late.  So I took a cab .... when I found out that it was sooooo near and felt ridiculous taking a cab.

I was early so had coffee and waited for my boss.

Wow!!  I don't own a horse though I love horses.  Now I'm working for an equestrian company!!  There's so many things to learn.  The people her are nice and friendly.  They welcomed me with open arms.

My boss is a kind and an approachable person.  He is a very independent boss and do not have to rely on people to do things for him unless its on- the-way sort of thing.

Unlike my previous company .... this place keeps me busy and on my toes, which I prefer.  Being me, my boss realised that I worked my best when under pressure.  He teasingly said ... "Next time I'll have a volcano ready to erupt!"

Up till this point - I am enjoying my work.  My faithful companion - Class 95 on my radio cause they only listen to the Tamil station which I don't understand.

I still give tuition on weekdays after my work and greatful for the lift from Ali to Chua Chu Kang (that saves allot)  thanks Ali, Really appreciate the ride.

Friday nights through Sunday I stay over at my mum's cause its closer to MRC and that too is also just a walk away.  Sunday nights I go back to the Princess lair.

Since we also will be shifting soon  so this luxury of comfort is only temporary.  Oh well! .... I guess SOME good things got to end ya.  But I keep reminding myself ....

To have the Rainbow .... You must first embrace the Rain.
Dream as if you will LIVE Forever ... Live as if you will DIE Today.

Farewell Travellers

In the late one morning our four travellers set off but not together as they had came.  Two of the four wanted to do some last minute shopping.  Yup, yup, shop, shop, shop till you drop!!

What else can you expect from a place like Singapore - Our Shopping Paradise!!  Hhhhmmm only today was THEIR day.  A day for pampering themselves before they too face the grind of work and toil.

Cakes and coffee was the breakfast of the day for all.  The last of the two took their leisurely time.

Contacts information was exchanged.  Circle of friends was expanded.

I am just glad that they had a good time and Princess was a good tour guide.  Learning of different cultures was exchange.

As for Princess and I the day passed by quite slow.  More movies and vegging in front of the telly.  Actually I put on some weight for being a couch potatoe while recovering from my stitches.

To help you stay safe and secure online, we've developed the all new Yahoo! Security Centre.

Age is Just a Number

Well, Princess had a taste of socialising with the "Big Guns" feeling comfortable and having little problems.  Well ..... they took REAL good care of her.

Went to chug down her cocktail in 5 mins!!  Oh no!!  But she one who could hold her drink and better than anyone I know!!  Though she came back with a hang over the next day and was not a good feeling.  But it was a night full of discovery and fun too.

And Mr Hotty was just left at the side.  A well earned space was needed.  A desperate breather.  THAT WAS WHAT SHE HAD.

Found out that age is just a number.  Most important is communication and being a "patient" good listener and knowing what to say at the right time.  I guess she did just that.

The night ended with full of wonderment and I was happy for the Princess.

Circle of Trust

Hhhhhmmm .... blood or no blood.  Family, kins folks, friends, strangers ..... *sigh* what's the difference?  Aren't we all human beings on this earth??

Why do most of us turn to friends??  Not that we don't trust our blood line but more how they look upon us.  Its wearing me down.  For me as long as I don't ask money from my parents and trouble them.  So my troubles are just mine for me to burden.

I was never always a goodie goodie two shoes.  My family had to bail me out of trouble time and time again.  But those things take time to change.  Yet, the sarcasm, badgering, bantering make me stick to my guns more defiant than ever.

Those of you in my shoes .... what have we to say to our bloodline!  We lie.  Though our intent are not malicious.  For if we reveal the truth.  They would think otherwise.

*sigh* and more *sighs*.

So who knows us better or the problems and sufferings we go through?? .... THEY become our Circle of Trust.

When will it finally be over??  An answer I know not.  So a double life we lead.  I so wish it could be different.  But its soooooooooooo IMPOSSIBLE.  A mask I wear to often.  Though the mask gets heavier I do not have much of a choice .... FOR NOW anyways.

but yeah, I have that circle of trust to keep me going and strong.

Health Tips

The Organs of our body have their sensory touches at the bottom of our foot, if you massage these points you will find relief from aches and pains as you can see the organs are on right and left foot, the heart is on the left foot.

This time, it put organs on the feet as they are. Typically they are shown as points and arrows to show which organ it connects to. It is indeed correct since the nerves connected to these organs terminate here. This is covered in great details in Acupressure studies or textbooks. God created our body so well that he thought of even this. He made us walk so that we will always be pressing these pressure points and thus keeping these organs activated at all times. So, keep walking.

Ten of Chalices

The Ten of Chalices card suggests that my power today lies in completion.

I celebrate and am grateful for captured moments of simple perfection. Satisfying my hearts desire connects me by example to love, beauty, pleasure, and happiness in those around me and gives me confidence to take it to the next level. "We made it."

Unconditional love makes a family and home is where the heart is, so at last, I am never alone. I am empowered by gratitude and my gift is emotional fulfillment.

PEOPLE COME INTO YOUR LIFE FOR A REASON

Pay attention to what you read. After you have finished reading it, you will know the reason it was published:

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant .

Thank you for being a part of my life,

whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

OUR VIEW OF THE DURBAN JULY

From: John Freeman

One could throw a blanket over the first 6 horses past the post at the Vodacom Durban July.   It was truly a thrilling spectacle with deserved reward for the grand-dame of the South African turf and her truly remarkable stallion Fort Wood

We have used every opportunity in the past to give Fort Wood the accolades he deserves as the greatest stallion of the modern era in this country.  The only sire to get three Horses of the Year including “our own” Dynasty who has a magnificent first crop of foals for sale next year.

The result of this year’s big event was especially significant for Fort Wood. It signified his 2nd individual Gr1 winner older than 3.  There was no doubting Fort Wood’s ability to get them to stay but what he lacked were older Gr1 winners. He now has two of these this year alone.  The R1.5m 1st prize was not sufficient to push him into 2nd place as Western Winter was R1m clear of him before the race and he bagged R250,000 with Jagged Ice’s 3rd place but had added Gr1 Golden Horseshoe 1st prize courtesy of Argonaut’s (Cheveley Stud) expected easy win.  The sire runner up spot is an interesting contest (reminiscent of that wonderful duel between Jallad and Western Winter for the sire premiership some years ago).  Though Jet Master’s representatives finished 4th (Pocket Power) and 17th (Ravishing) and did not add much to his tally, his lead this year remains unchallenged.

The question over whether Kildonan (Rich Man’s Gold) and Biarritz (Count Dubois) would stay the trip has been answered as we expected. Finishing within 4,5 lengths in this calibre of race is no disgrace.  The freemanstallions’ main hope was Jallad’s son Successful Bidder who finished 6th just three quarters of a length behind Hunting Tower - it has to be said that there was a good deal of scrimmaging which the two main racing scribes feel cost Jallad’s son at a crucial stage.  The move was started by stable companion Buy and Sell who shifted out briefly pushing Jay Peg onto Pocket Power with Hunting Tower angling in to avoid the clash with Successful Bidder the possible victim.  We would like to hear what Brett Smith had to say.

The Golden Slipper provided a wonderful opportunity for Al Mufti who has been short of Gr1 winners of late.  We were delighted that Golden Minaret (out of a Dancing Champ mare) prevailed for Mike de Kock and partners.  This is a smart filly who looks to have a bright future.  Jallad’s daughter Kiss For Kate was 3rd and Manshood’s Supper Club ran a credible 5th 2,5 lengths back.

All in all it was a fantastic race day.  Gold Circle’s organisation was, as always, spot on the mark and South Africa’s friendliest city upheld its tradition.  Everyone you met in Durban, from hotel staff to waiters in restaurants, the people at the races and, believe it or not, even the SAA ground staff served with a bright smile on their faces.  What a pleasure!  We have already booked to go back next year and we urge everyone else to do the same.  It is getting harder to find a bed in Durban.

King of Swords

The King of Swords card suggests that my power today lies in credibility.

My commanding reputation precedes me and in this seat of power I have nothing left to prove -- but I would be mistaken to assume that I have nothing left to learn or teach. I am ready to consolidate my resources or channel my experience in preparation for sharing my wisdom, protecting a legacy or to pursue new meaning.

In architecting my purpose, the pen has become mightier than the Sword. I am empowered by mastery, mandate or responsibility and my virtue is honor in authority and executive decision-making.

Dreams are My Reality

A 'dream' is the experience of a sequence of images, sounds, ideas, emotions, or other sensations during sleep, especially REM sleep. The events of dreams are often impossible or unlikely to occur in physical reality, and are outside the control of the dreamer. The exception to this is known as lucid dreaming, in which dreamers realize that they are dreaming, and are sometimes capable of changing their dream environment and controlling various aspects of the dream. The dream environment is often much more realistic in a lucid dream, and the senses heightened.

REM - Rapid Eye Movement

Can they be true?? A premonition?? A warning??

Hmmmmmm .... I would accept it with a pinch of salt IF .... none of MY dreams ever come true. But ever since I was five years old. My dreams have never failed my may it be a fair warning in my heart or premonition.

Problem is ..... I seldom know what they represents and often seek the help of old folks or "wise" man who knows or seems to have the knowledge. Sometimes scary and I can get paranoid.

But it seems useless and pointless. .... except pray for the best. Think positive in ALL situation and hope for the best ....."HOPE can bring you FREEDOM and FEAR can keep you PRISONER". I believe we live our life with both HOPE and FEAR for one cannot live without the other.

In black you can read the word GOOD, in white the word EVIL (inside each black letter is a white letter). It's all very physiological too, because it visualizes the concept that good can't exist without evil (or the absence of good is evil).

Trust No One

I thought after my persistent complain and constantly blocking and deleting email will deter away scam email for cash!!

I really and utterly am disgusted by the fact that people still continue to do so.  Greed who take over most of mankind feeding the weak with false hopes .... using God's name in vain.  Using people's lives like machine or robot not taking into consideration the - the emotional feelings that tagged to make a holistic person.

Why can't they see this?

Authorities give careful warnings and what to look for  .... yet they feed on our weaknesses.  Some people choose to ignore these warnings and put themselves on the stake!!

Trust No One except from your hard earn toil ..... That IS YOUR BEST SWEETEST RETURNS!
Thank you doctor for all your investigations and fair warnings.

The Eight of Chalices

The Eight of Chalices card suggests that my power today lies in space.

I am true to myself and will only regret the chances I don't take to seek or follow my hearts desire. I turn away from or make a clean sweep of that which does not honor or sustain my passion and love, and in this, I am not afraid to be alone.

I am empowered to move forward or make space and my gift is letting go.

World's Strangest Laws by Simon

On yer bike!
Did you know that in London it is illegal to have sex
on a parked motorcycle? Or that showing a naked mannequin to a boy
under 10 in Liverpool could see you behind bars?

And these are mild punishments compared to
some of those dished out in other countries.

Australia
Australia is one country you don't want to break the
law in. The current life sentence is 200 years. It is illegal to read
someone's tarot, or give them a psychic reading as these are forms of
witchcraft. Bizarrely, it also illegal to dress up like Batman down under.

Hong Kong
In Hong Kong, a betrayed wife is legally allowed to
kill her adulterous husband, but may only do so with her bare hands. The
husband's lover may be killed in any manner desired.
Italy
Pinching a passing girl's bottom is perfectly legal in
Italy. However, if an Italian man is caught wearing a skirt, he'll be thrown
in jail faster than you can say Pavarotti.
France
Between the hours of 8AM and 8PM, 70% of the music on
the radio must be by French musicians. It is also illegal in France to sell
'E.T' dolls or name a pig Napoleon.

Germany
In Germany, women who refuse to work as prostitutes
risk having their benefits stopped. Prostitution was legalised in
Germany in 2003, and is now regarded as a normal occupation.
Indonesia
The penalty for masturbation in Indonesia is
decapitation. Yikes!
Lebanon
Under Lebanese law, men are legally allowed to have
sex with animals, but the animals must be female. Having sexual relations
with a male animal is strictly forbidden.
USA
And finally, it's America, home of the wackiest laws
of them all.
Here's just a handfull of nutty laws that regulate the
world's biggest superpower.

Michigan: A woman isn't allowed to cut her own hair
without her husband's permission.

Indiana: It is illegal to attend the theatre within
four hours of eating garlic.

North Dakota: It is illegal to lie down and fall
asleep with your shoes on.

Oklahoma: People who make ugly faces at dogs may be
fined and/or jailed.

Wisconsin: Women are not allowed to wear anything red
in public.

Arkansas: A man can legally beat his wife, but not
more than once a month.

California: It is illegal for a secretary to be alone
in a room with her boss.
