Truth, Lies, Betrayal

HONESTY is the best Policy; people always say. But what are the consequences that follows ….. hmmmm … questions unanswered. So to play save what do people normally do?? They lie!!

The truth in you
I seek the truth in you
The weak lie is not you
So speak up, yes you

The truth hurts but it works
The truth simplifies and dignifies
The truth sooths preserving your youth

I ask the truth of you
Cry now, take a tissue
So speak up, yes you

The truth signifies and modifies
The truth is within and the best way to begin
The truth is a good start especially for sweethearts

I need the truth of you
Simply choose your venue
So speak up, yes you

The truth to any degree
Is a starting point to be free
Just like one and two make three
So speak up, yes you
If you agree

But through experience it’s more than often that it is the truth that lightens our burden and strengthens our beliefs in ourselves. In the process the truth may somewhat have the loneliness eating at us. As time wore on and our wings finally strengthen before we leave the loneliness and adapt to the environment or responsibility that keeps us going. Well, ONLY THE STRONGEST SURVIVE.
................ and only the WISEST of people, one so bold and lots of guts do one admit to truth to face the music. Even though we would always prefer to hear the truth from the horse's mouth than from someone else. Sad to say it is more than often that this is always the case.
Sooooooo ...........
So we start of with a "WHITE lie". Is there really such thing as a white lie?? Isn't it still a lie nevertheless?? You tell one small lie than you need to tell another to cover the other .... and where does it end?? WILL it ever end?? Hhmmm
One lie more to comfort oneself and in achieving in deceiving the other party to prevent THAT party from being hurt or seeing THAT person going through a depression period. Hhhhmmm though NO ONE really want to go through this but sometimes it seems that its inevitable. So it becomes that "HURT" is a process.
In the final analysis .... WE ARE ONLY LYING TO OURSELVES.

Lies
by Stanley Naber

Lies hurt more
than the truth
why do I live
in self pity
and expect disappointment
more then optimism
or does enjoyment
lead me to new
worlds which I can not
live on
the air is getting
thin and I want to
stay for some time
too bad I can not
live in my dreams
for then utopia would be
reached wouldn't it

Where does this lead to .......... betrayal! Conclusion??
Hence, knowledge of THE TRUTH is ALWAYS, ALWAYS, always the best because a lie would in the end cause more hurt than the truth. I never believe one can wear a mask for very long. One will eventually get tired of running and lying.
Betrayal
May
The wind is tossing the lilacs,
The new leaves laugh in the sun,
And the petals fall on the orchard wall,
But for me the spring is done.
Beneath the apple blossoms I go a wintry way,
For love that smiled in April Is false to me in May.
The poem below is by John Keats. I did it for literature when I was in school and loved what it meant.

La Belle Dame sans Merci
John Keats

Oh what can ail thee,
knight-at-arms,Alone and palely loitering?
The sedge has withered from the lake,And no birds sing.

Oh what can ail thee,
knight-at-arms,
So haggard and so woe-begone?
The squirrel's granary is full,
And the harvest's done.

I see a lily on thy brow,
With anguish moist and fever-dew,
And on thy cheeks a fading rose
Fast withereth too.

I met a lady in the meads,
Full beautiful - a faery's child,
Her hair was long,
her foot was light,
And her eyes were wild.

I made a garland for her head,
And bracelets too,
and fragrant zone;
She looked at me as she did love,
And made sweet moan.

I set her on my pacing steed,
And nothing else saw all day long,
For sidelong would she bend,
and sing
A faery's song.

She found me roots of relish sweet,
And honey wild,
and manna-dew,
And sure in language strange she said -'I love thee true'.

She took me to her elfin grot,
And there she wept and sighed full sore,
And there I shut her wild wild eyes
With kisses four.

And there she lulled me asleep
And there I dreamed - Ah! woe betide! -
The latest dream I ever dreamt
On the cold hill side.

I saw pale kings and princes too,
Pale warriors,
death-pale were they all;
They cried - 'La Belle Dame sans Merci
Hath thee in thrall!'

I saw their starved lips in the gloom,
With horrid warning gaped wide,
And I awoke and found me here,
On the cold hill's side.

And this is why I sojourn here
Alone and palely loitering,
Though the sedge is withered from the lake,
And no birds sing.
Our lives is what we make it to be. Happiness is a feeling that we create. Not seek BUT found in a treasure trove that lies within us. So be happy, smile always ..... and stay GOLD for as long as you can! :)
