Forever Friends

January 13th ...

Few days earlier a little Tikus let out word that there's a new club that's just open and a party was held for the below 18. Sounds great! Time and venue was set. Princess and company ... Hotty, Princess and myself went from home. The rest .. Rock, Abang Dan and the Tikus was all there waaaaaaaayyyy before us. But they hung around Esplanade till we arrive. We had to wait for Mafia to finish work.

It’s been ages since I went down Orchard. Almost forgot what nightlife was like!! I desperately wanted to let my hair down after a long hard week kicking butt at work. So we were all looking forward to an exacting evening that Tikus painted a picture in our minds.

The minute we got there - I queued up with Rock and Abang Dan whilst the rest fill their hunger with what food they can find at the Makansutra that fitted their meager budget. Unfortunately we were all ALMOST broke .... but just for that ONE night we were willing to burn what we have. Foolish as it may seem .... but sometimes ... its hard to control our "yearn".

Anyways .... What a night it turns out to be!

We waited and waited like almost forever ... THREE FREAKING HOURS to be exact!! When we got nearer and nearer the front and when we were about to give sighs of relief..... the BOMB Shell dropped!

"I'd like to aopologise to all of you but we are all FULLY booked and there will be no more admittance." The organiser announced. Our jaw dropped in disappointment. There were more disappointed customers. We could not believe it!

Out of frustration we went somewhere to just have a seat as our feet were practically worn out from standing in one position with little movement what with the crowd that we were with. Found some seats sat down for a breather and a smoke. So what’s the next P.A (plan of action) folks!

Well … I called in sick the next day. We just basically walked and talked and walked. We ended up at Mc’s and ate there. By the time it was done it was drizzling. *Sighs* the only one with the umbrella was Mafia.

Off all the people we bumped into was Iksan (hope I got the spelling right). Good news for from him. The guy that so loved piercing and punk hair do have cleaned up his image and is finally engaged!! We were all so happy for him (less one moody gal).

Emotions in everyone are hard to express and we did our best to keep things “cool” more or less. … Hhhhmmmm maybe one-day things will be self-explanatory between those involve.

Friends will forever be friends come high or low water! We eventually manage to help each other up our feet. Even though it MIGHT not seem to appear that way.

Just after dawn – we went home.

Tired and exhausted from the night … we slept through Sunday. Trying our best not to think about the rift that cause the relationship with friends to sour.

What will be … will be …. Youth is their ONLY selfish reason. TIME is on their side.

To be able to forgive each other – you MUST first learn to UNDERSTAND each other.
